Primary Legislation:

Main laws passed by UK bodies, such as Parliament (relates to Statues).

Secondary Legislation:

Delegated legislation made by a person or body under authority contained in primary legislation.

A

A

It is an act that protects everyone from discrimination in the workplace and wider society. This law makes it illegal to discriminate against people on the basis of numerous traits/characteristics.

Reasonable adjustments must be made for people with disabilities, under The Equality Act 2010.

This is taking necessary steps to include all. Examples… providing ramps and lifts for people in wheelchairs, or multi-faith toilets and prayer rooms for religious beliefs.

A

Equality Act mentions reasonable adjustments. Part M of the building regulations (which is access to buildings) also mentions access for Wheelchair users.
