The difference between volume and mass is that volume measures the space an object takes up while mass is the amount of matter in a given object.
How do you find the median?
If the number set is odd then the median is the number in the middle. However, if it is not odd the two numbers in the middle of the even number set are added together and divided by two.
How do you find the mean/average?
You find the mean by adding up all the numbers in the data set and dividing by the amount of numbers in the data set.
How do you find the variance of an object?
You find the variance by taking the difference in height in all your objects and then squaring them, adding them together, and then you divide by the amount of objects you have.
What is standard deviation?
Standard deviation is the measure of variation from the mean.
How do you find the standard deviation of an object?
The standard deviation is just the square root of the variance so you take the square root of the number you just found using variance.
