A
Hypertension

Mechanism of action
A
Blocks the AT1 receptor, so that angiotensin II cannot have an effect.

Important adverse drug reactions
A
hypotension
hyperkalaemia- less aldosterone released, leading to less ROMK channels acting… so potassium increases in the body
