Led many germans to vote Hitler and the nazis in power because they were desperate

Japan attacked and invaded many countries and cities in order to grow and they grew their army

Hitler manipulated the people’s fear of communism taking over in Germany to rise to power in 1933

Hitler demanded land in Czechoslovakia because their were German citizens there. French and British PM agreed because they feared another world war

Hitler, Mussolini and japans Tojo each touted their nations ability to dominate all others in years leading up to the war

Many countries wanted nothing to do with the war because it didn’t directly affect them and they didn’t respond to the calls for help

The glorification of war in which a nation strengthens their military and stockpiles weapons in preparation for war
Nationalism definition
Identification with ones own nation and support for its interests, especially to the exclusion or detriment of the interests of other nations
Appeasement definition
Pacify or placate (someone) by acceding to their demands
Isolation definition
A policy of remaining apart from the affairs or interests of other groups, especially political affairs of other countries.
