CXR - Ground glass appearance with indiscint heart border in newborn

When is Chicken pox infective?
4 days before and 5 days after rash
Complications of chicken pox
Bacterial infection (NSAIDs increase risk)
Pneumonia
Encephalitis
Disseminated haemorrhagic chcken pox
Arthritis, nephritis, pancreatitis (very rare)
What is delayed mecnoium associated with?
Hirschplungs disease
Features of pyloric stenosis
Projectile non-bilious vomit
4-6 wks
Diagnosis by test feed or USS
Management = surgery
Presentation of mesenteric adenitis
Central abdo pain
Assoc with URTI
