Purchasers - those who buy healthcare, like employers and govts
Payors - those who “pay” health systems like insurance and govt

Private managed care - they contract with providers to provide care; PPOs are more common

Universal model where a single entity like the government pays for essentials

VA is healthcare provided while Medicare/aid is financed
