Never studied directly with Nicolo.

  • worked with Francesco Ruggieri, possibly
  • might have been an inlayer and might have done work for the Amatis
  • “Second genius” of Cremona
  • More Lavish and stylized that previous violins, intricately decorated.
  • First known work is 1666
