  • if one has diabetes their body cannot make proper use of energy so it builds up in the bloodstream and cannot be used

  • hypoglycaemia is an abnormally low level of glucose in your blood
  • when ones glucose level is too low, your body does not have enough energy to carry out its activities
  • it typically occurs when one with diabetes takes too much insulin, misses a meal or exercises too hard
