what is an aim of a study?

a statement of the purpose of the study/what they intend to investigate.

A
a clear and precise testable statement about the IV and DV co-variables.

what is a directional hypothesis?
A
An experiment that states the direction of the differences.
e.g. boys score higher on tests than girls.

what is a non directional hypothesis?
A
an experiment that does not state the direction of the differences.
e.g. there will be a difference in the IQ scores of girls and boys.
