Donepezil warnings, SE, Notes, dosing

5mg QHS

Warnings- bradycardia

SE- insomnia/Nausea

ODT less side effects and pts <50mg have more side effects

Rivastigamine (Exelon) formulation/dose and notes.

Patch 4.6mg/24hours

less side effects

Exelon capsule should be taken BID with breakfast and dinner

Namenda blocks NMDA which inhibits glutamate (Excitatory neuron) from binding and decreasing activation
