Define Assuming Duty:

A

Entering your name and reporting time in the space next to the position assignment of the individual you are relieving, in the personnel rundown of the company journal. Placing your PPE on the unit and replacing the PPE you have signed in to relieve. This means you are prepared to respond on all alarms and enter an IDLH atmosphere.

During the daily lineup, Co Officer shall inspect

A

Member will be removed from field operations, ordered to submit a special report, ordered to come into compliance and referred to the OOC. Member should be relieved from duty and placed on LWOP for the remainder of the tour.
Co Officer shall order member to come into compliance by next work day. Members who comply will be restored to full duty and no further action taken.
Those who refuse will be ordered to submit a second special report. And penalized with a 12 hour suspension for that 2nd day, 24 hour for the 3rd day and recommended for termination the fourth day.
