A

The location plan identifies the location of a proposed site/new building within its surroundings/local area. It helps with planning the layout of a new project.
The new building and plot are outlined with a thick black line
The scale of the drawing is normally 1:1250.

A

A floor plan, shows the inside of the house, highlighting the layout/position of rooms, windows, doors, fixtures and fittings.
These are commonly drawn at a scale of 1:100 or 1:50.

A

A

Used to identify and plan around the lay of the land in terms of contours (how steep the land is) and existing natural/man made features

This will include looking at depth of substrate, the type of substrate in order to determine the best foundations for the building

A

Identifies how drainage should be installed to remove waste water from
storms or man-made waste in domestic/commercial properties.
Can also be used to determine how a property may be connected to existing mains drainage and sewers.
Can identify any issues with underground sewage or drainage pipes such as blockages.

A

Used to identify and plan features such as hard landscaping
They are used to plan landscapes around properties as required by the design.

What is Storm Water?

A

Refers to the excess overflow from adverse precipitation. This water is drained from external areas of the home, back towards rivers, seas , oceans.

A

Refers to home waste water such as toile, bath, shower water etc. This is directed to sewage treatment plants via sewage main lines.
