Master Switch ................... CYCLE
Voltage Light .......... CHECK OFF
Avionics ..................................... ON

If voltage light re-illuminates, see discharge on ammeter.

DISCHARGE ON AMMETER

Alternator ................. OFF
Conserve battery power
Land .......... ASAPractical

LOW OIL PRESSURE

Oil Temperature ..................... CHECK

If oil temperature normal:
Land .......... NEAREST AERODROME

If oil temperature high:
Power ............. MINIMUM REQUIRED
Land .............................................. ASAP
EXPECT ENGINE FAILURE

INADVERTENT ICING

Pitot Heat ....................................... ON
Exit Icing Conditions .............. ASAP
Cabin Heat/Defrost ..................... ON
Increase power to prevent propeller icing.
Monitor RPM for intake icing.
Carb Heat .......... ON AS REQUIRED
Land ............................................. ASAP

Increase landing speed due to icing conditions.
Flaps ....................................... RETRACTED
Left Window .................. OPEN AND SLIP
Landing Attitude ............................. LEVEL

Trim .......... TRY UP AND DOWN
Land .......... SUITABLE RUNWAY
EXPECT HIGH ELEVATOR FORCES

STUCK FLAPS

Airspeed ..................... BELOW 85 KIAS
Flap Circuit Breaker ................. CHECK
Flap Switch .......... TRY ALL SETTINGS

FLAT MAIN TIRE

Approach ............................... NORMAL
Touchdown .......... GOOD TIRE FIRST

OPEN DOOR IN FLIGHT

Maintain control and fly the aircraft.
Ensure seatbelt secure.
Land the aircraft if appropriate or necessary.

If decision is to close door in flight:
Slow aircraft to a low cruise and maintain control.
Force door open against slipstream.
Firmly pull door closed.
