Cell Relationships (mRNA) Flashcards

1
Q

RER

A

A series of flattened sacs or cisternae. Rough due to the ribosomes.
Sight of proteins synthesis. Membrane is continuous with the nuclear membrane.

Q

Golgi body

A

A series of flattened sacs. Vesicles fuse with the membrane.

Modifies proteins into glycoproteins and enzymes.

Transports carbs and stores lipids.

A

Contain digestive enzymes.

Small vacuoles: phagocytosis
