16
Q

What is the Vacuole?

A

Maintains a balanced PH level in the cell. Stores waste products/ storage unit.

17
Q

What are the Lysosomes?

A

” Waste management” Breaks down waste into compounds that are used for simpler use by other organelles.

18
Q

What are the Smooth ER and Rough ER? What are the differences?

A

Makes and moves all of the chemical compounds both to and from the nucleus. RER: Has ribosomes. SER: No ribosomes: Transports the proteins.

19
Q

What are the Mitochondria?

A

Changes the sugar brought into the cell into energy and nutrients.

20
Q

What is the Golgi body?

A

Changes fats and proteins inside the cell. Gets them ready to be moved out of the cell or stored.
