cellular respiration

A
  • ALL cells do cellular respiration (plant, animal, and all other living things)
  • The process that releases energy by breaking down glucose and other food molecules in the presence of oxygen.
  • Takes place in the mitochondria.
  • If you look at this equation compared to photosynthesis you will notice that it is the opposite. The products of photosynthesis are the reactants of cellular respiration.
