-anorexia is usually inpatient as is more life threatening and responds well to family therapy

-good school climate
resilience in EA
people who did not demonstrate resilience in childhood/adol and who may have engaged in harmful externalizing behaviors can still turn it around in EA
-because they can leave toxic environments
-more capable of making plans and following through
-better able to reappraise thoughts
