Was the son of George Calvert. His name was Cecil Calvert. Became proprietor. Was in the representative assembly. When tension arose between Protestants and Catholics in fear lord Baltimore convinced to pass the act of tolerance in 1649. Welcomed all Christians and gave adult males the right to vote and hold office. Didn't protect people who weren't Christians.
