What is the integumentary system?

Forms the external body covering and protects protects deep tissue. Consists of hair, nails, and skin.


What is the skeletal system?

Protects and supports body organs. Blood cells are formed here and consists of bones and joints.


What is the muscular system?

Allows locomotion, facial expression, and maintain posture.


Lymphatic system?

Returns leaked fluid to the blood. Disposes of debris, and houses blood cells. Consists of the spleen, lymph nodes, thymus, red bone marrow, thoracic duct, and lymphatic vessels


Respiratory system?

Keeps blood supplied with oxygen and removed dioxide. Consists of lungs, nasal cavity, trachea, and bronchus.


Digestive system?

Breaks down food. Consists of large and small intestine, stomachs, liver, anus, and rectum.


Nervous system?

Responds to external and internal changes. Consists of brain, nerves, and spinal cord.


Endocrine system?

Glands secrete hormones for growth, reproduction, and nutrients. Consists of ovary, testis, pancreas, and pineal.


Cardiovascular system?

Blood vessels transports and pumps blood, and carries oxygen and dioxide. Consists of the heart and blood vessels.


Urinary system?

Eliminates waste, regulated water and electrolytes. Consists of the kidney, ureter, bladder, and urethra.


Male reproduction system?

Tested produce sperm and male sex hormone. Consists of the testes, penis, prostate, and scrotum.


Female reproductive system?

Ovaries produce eggs and sex hormones. Consists of mammary gland, ovary, uterus, vagina and urinary tube.
