What is Reconstruction?
Rebuilding the former Confederate States and readmitting them to the Union.
Compare Lincoln's 10 Percent Plan with the Radical Republican plan.
Lincoln's plan was forgiving to the South while the Republican plan was harsher.

An agency set up by Lincoln and Congress that helped African Americans make the transition to freedom.
