Q

What are types of delay

A

PROPAGATION DELAY: It defined as the time to travel across medium.
SWITCHING DELAY: It is the time required for network component (hub, bridge, packet switch) to forward data.
ACCESS DELAY: It is the time required to get control of medium (CSMA/CD, token).
QUEUING DELAY: It is the time required in packet switches.
