Why did the Americans in the 13 colonies rebel against the Bristish?
In 1775, George Washington took command of an army raised in the 13 colonies to fight the British
The war divided the colonist into two groups. What were the groups called and who did they support?
People who supported the rebellion called themselves the Patriots
People who opposed the rebellion and wanted to remain united and loyal to the British empire were called the United Empire Loyalist
What was Tarring and Feathering? Why might this happen to a person?
tarring and feathering is when someone puts tar on someone and then puts feathers on the tar. This might happen to somone when some else disagrees with there disision on being a United Empire Loyalist
What was the Loyalist migration? Other than colonist British ancestry, who was apart of this group?
Loyalist moving from the 13 colonies to British colonies of Quebec.

greatly increased the number of the population and the Canadiens were worried that their rights would be jepordize

Sifted the British and FN relationship, as the british tried to negotiate the land away from FN to control

because the British shut down all trade routes and blocked america ships from coming in.

Many Upper Canadians expressed strong support for Britian, and strong Opposition to America plans
