A

history of trauma
Pain
Swelling
Deformity = dinner fork deformity
Restricted movement
Radial styloid process at same level or higher than ulnar styloid process

A

undisplace = Above elbow cast with flexed elbow for 6 weeks
Displaced =
closed reduction = tration and counter traction applied along the long axis of forearm , surgeon presses the distal fragent with thim to correct dorsal tilt .
surgeon pronates forearm , flexes wrist 20 degree and 20 degree ulnar deviation and applies cast from below elbow to knuckles called colles cast .
post reduction x ray done , repeated weekly
cast applied for 6 weeks
