Complex brain functions Flashcards

1
Q

What is radial glial migration?

A

In cortical development, newly formed neurons migrate towards the cortical plate with the help of radial glia cells.
Migration happens through the action of cytoskeletal microtubules and leads to the formation of the 6 cortical layers of the cerebellum.
