*Acute onset
*Lasts 2–7 days
*High-grade, often biphasic

2-signs of Hge
*Positive tourniquet test or
*Clinical bleeding (e.g., petechiae, purpura, epistaxis, gum bleeding, hematemesis, melena)
3-Platlets <100000
4-Evidence of plasma leakge:
One or more of the following:
*Hemoconcentration: Hematocrit increased by ≥20% from baseline
*Pleural effusion or ascites (seen on imaging or clinical exam)
*Hypoproteinemia or hypoalbumine
