to send documents or programs from your computer to a larger system using the internet

information about a person that can be obtained by analysing what they do online.
For example:
“The more time we spend online, the more of a digital footprint we leave”.
To reduce
to make something become smaller in size, amount, degree, importance, etc.
To get rid of
to make someone go away because they are annoying, unpleasant, or not wanted.
For example: “I’m sure he knew we were trying to get rid of him!”
