What is an internal search?
An internal examination of the body by means of
X-ray
A manual or visual examination through anybody orifice
What is not an internal search?
A visual examination of the mouth nose and ears
Must be visual, you cannot insert anything
Who can conduct an internal search?
A registered medical practitioner
When can an internal search be carried out?
Some people can be searched when arrested for an some offenses under the MODA
and we have reasonable grounds to believe they have certain property secreted within their body
