All believe society must be just and guarantee citizens a chance at fulfilling life.
J.S.MILL supported this as believed all should work collectively for ‘common good’ + all citizens should have chance to contribute to this.
Rawls supported this as argued society must offer fair chances. ‘Veil of ignorance’ - behind the veil no one knows who you are. This means, you face no biases.

Mostly disagree on economy as although believe all have right to own prove property, disagree on extent of gov intervention + how much tax should take place.

All agree that possessing private property + pursuit of property ownership is necessary mainly because it allows them to be independent from the state
E- classical liberals e.g. Locke believe private property is a natural right gifted by God as part of natural law.
Gov exist to protect private property ; core function of social contract
E- Modern like Rawls agree with him on importance of property ownership. This is because private enterprise gives people the incentive to achieve and flourish .

However, while Rawls supported the right to private property, also advocated for a system of redistributive taxation + social welfare policies to ensure inequalities arising from natural distributions of talents do not lead to unjust advantages for a few.
