ENGINE HOT START
Affected Thrust Lever - Shutoff
Dry Motor - Until ITT reduced below 120 degrees C or Starter Limit, whichever comes first
Affected engine, ENG STOP switch - Stop
REJECTED TAKEOFF BEFORE ACHIEVING V1
(Simultaneously)
Thrust Levers - Idle
Wheel Brakes - Maximum until a safe stop
Thrust Reversers (operating engines) - Maximum, consistent with directional control
ENGINE FIRE OR SEVERE ENGINE DAMAGE (IN FLIGHT)
At a safe altitude, affected engine:
- affected thrust lever - Confirm and idle
- affected thrust lever - Confirm and shutoff
- affected ENG FIRE PUSH switch - confirm and select
- affected FUEL BOOST PUMP switch - confirm and off
After 10 seconds and fire warning persists:
Affected engine BOTTLE switch - select to discharge
After 30 seconds and fire warning still persists:
Other engine BOTTLE switch - select to discharge
CABIN ALT OR EMERGENCY DESENT
Oxygen masks - Don and 100%
Crew Communications - Establish
NO SMKG and SEAT BELTS sign switches - ON
Descent - Initiate to 10,000 feet or lowest safe altitude
Thrust levers - IDLE
Flight Spoilers - DEPLOY
STALL RECOVERY
Autopilot - DISENGAGE, IF REQUIRED
Pitch Attitude - LOWER NOSE TO REDUCE ANGLE OF ATTACK
Thrust levers - ADVANCE TO MAX POWER WINGS LEVEL
Flight spoiler lever - SELECT TO RETRACT
L(R) START ABORT
Affected thrust lever - SHUT OFF
Dry Motor - UNTIL ITT REDUCE BELOW 120 DEGREES C OR STARTER LIMIT, WHICHEVER COMES FIRST
Affected engine, ENG STOP switch - STOP
Affected engine start - REPEAT
