What is hemoglobinopathy?
Any disorder caused by abnormalities in the hemoglobin molecule.

Leukemia that affects granulocytes.
What is Kaposi sarcoma?
Malignancy associated with HIV.
What is sickle cell anemia?
Hereditary anemia found mostly in those of African descent.

Decrease of platelets in the circulatory system.
What is hemolytic anemia?
Anemia caused by destruction of erythrocytes.
What is thrombocythemia?
Excessive number of platelets in circulation.
What is hemophilia?
Hereditary bleeding disorder caused by deficiency in clotting factors.
What is graft rejection?
Destruction of a transplanted organ or tissue by the recipient’s immune system.
