Informed consent
- All studies require participant information sheet written in appropriately language
- This is what the study involves
•Right to refuse or withdraw at any time without giving reasons

Competence
Psychologists values are continuing development and maintenance of high standards of competence in a professional work and the importance of preserving their ability to function optimally within recognise limits of their knowledge, skill, training, education and experience
Responsibility
Psychologists value their responsibilities to clients, to the general public and to the profession and science of psychology including the avoidance of harm and the prevention of miss use or abuse of their contributions to society
Deception
should not be used unless absolutely necessary
Must explain the deception as early as possible – usually in debrief
Opportunity for participant to withdraw data after made aware
Monitor response of participants during debrief.
Protection from discomfort or harm
Obligation to protect participants from harm
Physical and psychological harm
Stress, anxiety, embarrassment, did pression, fair
Potential for harm must be made explicit and participation it information sheet
Debriefing
Debrief sheet presented participants at the end of the study
Summary of the study is true aims
Insure participants well being

Bible discussion of participant about debrief contents before
Confidentiality
Participant data should remain confidential and anonymous
Should be stated on the participant information sheet
Need to inform that expensive confidentiality cannot be promised.
