Treatment: first line
A
Chloramphenicol 2+
Eye drops
- Every 2H for first 48H then every 4 hours for 5 days
- Store in fridge
Ointment
Apply 3-4x for 5 days
Refer if not improving >48H
CI: Fx blood dyscrasias, hx myelosuppression

Bathe eyelids
Regular hand washing
Avoid contact lenses during + 24H after treatment
