clinical feature

-usually developed from facial paralysis (delayed/wrong tx)
-unilateral
-start small, spread to whole face
-worse with stress/tiredness
-contraction stops at sleep
-no pain

prognosis

not good, not easy to cure, can last a lifetime

1) obstruction of W-C
2) Xu SP/ST
3) upraising of LIV-yang due to yin xu

1) embedded needle therapy
2) hanging needle technique (very shallow)

2) heat compress/self-massage
3) prevent eye infection (drops, wear sunglasses)
