- Textbook Selection: Check out a textbook from the library for 2 hours and scan the pages you need to read for the week/day into your computer.
- Scanner: Free high speed scanner.
- Archives and Special Collections: Lots of history.
- Technology Loans: Headphones, charger cords, calculators, computers, dry erase markers.
- Media Production Studio: Must attend a one on one orientation before you can use for personal projects.
- Maker Space: Must attend a one on one orientation before you can use for personal projects. Contains a ton of tech and u only have to pay for the materials you use.
- Study Rooms: Reserve up to a week in advance for two two hour sessions. You must bring your own device.
- Eagle ID: Serves as your library card and is used to pay for printing.
- Printing: Must pay for printing. Only takes eagle dollars.
- Spaces: 1st floor contains the common spaces. The 2nd floor contains books. The 3rd floor is the silent area. 4th floor contains the children’s books, class rooms and offices.
- Librarians: Offices on the second floor. Make an appointment (email/call) and they can help you find info. (Research and STEM librarian emails in FGCU Links & Resources Docs).
- Center for Academic Achievement: Located on the second floor. Tutoring is available as well as writing assistance.
- Library Events: Events can be found on the library blog on the library website.
Finals Week: Relaxation Stations.
*The Starbucks entrance is open 24/7.
They have a pharma box for medications.

- Two Pools: SoVi pool and the Rec Center Pool
- Water front and Rec Ventures: Located at North Lake Village.
- Water Activities: Check out kayaks, sailboats, etc. Or go tubing.
- Rec Venture Trips and Clinics: Trips to do outdoor activities. Rec Ventures are $20 while Clinics are free.
- Intermural sports: Sports that anyone can join or fun games like spikeball.
- Fitness programs and group classes.
- Exercise is Medicine Program: Helps you set fitness goals, use gym equipment, etc. for free.
- Prevention and Wellness Coaching: Talk to someone. Option before going to CAPS.
- Yellow Cash Cab: Get a free ride on campus.
- Advocacy services: Helps u if you have an issue.
- Employment: URecWell is the biggest employer of students on campus. Positions for front desk, lifeguard, etc. Holidays off.
