Engine Start Call-Out

Answer 1

1 - Announce “Starting Engine”
a) Turn the start/stop selector to start momentarily and back to run, keeping the hand on the start/stop selector to abort the engine start if necessary
b) Start Clock
c) Check N2 rising
d) Monitor IGN A (B) at 7% N2, FF at approx. 20% N2
e) Make sure that N2 and N1 accelerate normally and that positive oil pressure is indicated
f) Stop clock at 50% N2 (Starter limitation)*
g) Verify that the engine stabilizes at idle
2 - Announce “Normal Start”
