What is meant by fragile ecosystem?
An ecosystem is a collection of parts that are linked together in such a way as to form a working unit.
All the parts work together interacting and influencing each other in a well ordered, balanced way.
This means that any change in one part will effect all the other parts.
Most ecosystems will be changed for a period of time but will eventually regulate themselves back to normal. Such as ones said to be resilient.
Some ecosystems are extremely vulnerable to disturbances especially as a result of human activities. These are fragile ecosystems and it is more difficult for them to adjust.
What happens when a change happens in one part of the eco-system?
Examples?
