3 causes of global warming

-To much CO2 in the atmosphere
- fossil fuel burning and deforestation, and methane, released from rice paddies, landfill sites and animal farming

3 effects of global warming

-extreme climate changes
-an increase in global average temperatures
-big ice sheets like Greenland and Antarctica will melt causing sea levels to rise and threaten coastal cities and low-lying countries
-because of the extreme climate changes so quickly plants and animals won’t be able to adapt quick enough and may die out.

Explain greenhouse effect

The greenhouse effect is the natural process by which the atmosphere traps some of the Sun's energy, warming the Earth enough to support life.

List 4 climate changes that Global warming will cause

-bush fires

Name 3 greenhouse gases

-methane (CH4)
-nitrous oxide (N2O)
-carbon dioxide (CO2)
