After powering up the aircraft using the batteries you hear a warning horn after 5 minutes. For what reason?

Power up w/no (GPU/APU) AC power

Power is only available for 10 minutes while using the batteries alone.

A sustainable power source (APU/GPU) must be established durning the SafetyPower up checklist. Otherwise a warning horn will signal after 5min.

- Press APU fire bottle discharge 1 time to arm, press again to discharge high rate
