What is normal system l/u for H2 purge system?
When would this system be used?
A
S/D, isolated w/fan and MOV bkrs racked out
After major LOCA when H2 recombiners not available or not working and [H2] approaching 3.5%

Describe components of H2 purge system?
A
Inlet filters- clean air prior to enter CNMT
Supply fan(2)- motive force of air
HCV-145,146- allow man adjust flow (3400cfm)
CIV- MOV for CNMT isolation controlled from PASS room, valves have no auto close feature=> wtch stationed if opened
Exh filter- roughing, HEPA, charcoal, HEPA
Exh fan- motive force to plant vent
HCC-147- man adjust flow (3400cfm)
Ext recombiner flange- place to attach recombiner so CNMT not released just lower [H2] and put back in
