A

Valid: the fitness test should measure the actual fitness component that you are interested in.
Eg. 30m sprint to test speed

Reliable: the test should consistently give the same results if repeated

Friend/family
Positive- encouragement and support
Negative- may not be interested in the sport

Gender
Positive- both genders have more opportunities
Negative- opposing genders may not want to mix

Social
Positive- financially able
Negative- can’t afford it

Race
Positive- can help to integrate different ethnical backgrounds
Negative- racial discrimination. Racial comments can be made

After 30, your muscles get weaker, your heart rate decreases, joints get stiffer.

A

Up to age 11 both genders are equal. This is because:
Strength- males grow twice as stronger because they have more muscles
Cardiovascular- males transport oxygen better because they have larger hearts and lungs and more blood

Disability- a disability means a part of your body doesn’t function properly but exercise will keep the rest of your body fit
Illness and fatigue- you are less fit if you are ill or tired

How do drug taking, stress and the enviroment affect your fitness?

A

Drug- diseases can occur from drug or alcohol intake
Stress- you are unable to concentrate
Environment- If its hot you can dehydrate. High altitude makes it harder to breath because the air is thinner
