List the Cyanotic Heart defects ( Mnemonic= 5T’s)

A

Transposition of Great Arteries (TGA)
Truncus Arteriosus
Tricuspid Atresia
Tetrallogy of Fallot
Total Anomalous Pulmonary Venous Return (TAPVR)

*Note that perioral and acrocyanosis of newborn is normal. True oral cyanosis can be a sign of cyanotic CHD.

**Obstructive TAPVR and TGA require emergency surgerybecause they lead to profound cyanosis.
