Landing Checklist (6 Items)

Answer 1

• Lights out (verifying no warning lights)
• Needles Married (Tach and engine)
• 3 in the green (oil pressure, oil temp, cylinder head temp)
• Fuel for the mission (Fuel gauges and also check fuel timer based off time we calculated before hand)
• Amps good (Not showing a drain)
• Carb heat (Full pull if with in carb heat conditions)

Question 2

Shutdown (3 items)

Answer 2

• Collective down, RPM 70-75%, Friction ON
• Cyclic and Pedals neutral, Friction ON
• Cool down timer started

Question 3

Startup (6 Items)

Answer 3

• Good start
• Alternator ON
• Clutch ENGAGED
• Set RPM 50-60%
• Start timer
• Starter Light OUT

Question 4

Autorotation

Answer 4

• Eyes outside/Entering Autorotation
• Collective down
• Aft cyclic (65 knots)
• Right pedal
• Wrist
• Tach
• Catch

Air taxi/Rapid decel
