What were the six things that happened to Canada post war? WWII

The road to recovery
-Canadians made more products for Europe
Mass assembly
-assembly lines; more product less money
American influence
-American companies took over Canadian ones
Urbanization
Growth in cities from job opportunities
Consumerism
-Canadians can now afford more than necessities
Credit
-banks lend money for consumer items e.g. Cars, furniture.

What were some of Canada's undesirables?

African Americans-segregation
Chinese
Indians (India)

What is a residential school and what happened in them?

A school for aboriginal children to go to learn English and the Christian religion. The bad thing is that these people were forced to go and they were abused in many ways. The Canadian government wanted to be rid of the "Indian problem"

What is a flapper? How did they help in society?

They were rebellious women who had short hair and boxy clothes. They did not work the house and were single, drove cars, smoked and drank. They helped with with woman's equality.
