What is socialisation?

a complex process by which any person grows up and plays a part in. A way you learn to become an accepted member of society and culture, adapting to the ENVIRONMENT of that S+C, as well as changing it through his/her participation.
All this at a particular TIME in the history of that S+C.


What do you accept in socialisation?

accept social norms and behaviours of society


Why is socialisation important?

important in our development as humans to enquire about our personal and social identity.
key concept in understanding self.


How can we understand personal and individual traits?

involves study of a range of disciplines such as sociology, biology, psychology and anthropology.
