What diseases do coag neg staph cause?

A

They are mostly opportunistic pathogens
Do not generally cause significant infection unless due to prosthetics eg joint infections, infection of prosthetic heart valves

A
Often have multiple antibiotic resistance 
Use Flucloxacillin (can add vancomycin is not effective alone)
