Q

How could we collect data from random samples of a population ?

A

Divide the area into a grid
Use a random number generator to generate coordinates
Use a large number of samples to collect a reliable and representative sample
Then calculate a mean and the sd of that mean

4
Q

Standard deviations

A

Large sd means the sample Varys a lot and are less reliable and if so bars overlap then the differences between the groups of data are not significant

Q

Analysing p values

A

P is less than or equal to 0.05 the probability that the differences are due to chance are less than or equal to 5%
The differences are significant
Vise versa
