A
- Extend fist toward target keeping elbow down
- Rotate hips and shoulder forward for power
- Rotate fist (~45 deg) to add power and make contact top two knuckles
- Penetrate the target

- Rotate hips and shoulder forward to add power
- Pivot on the ball of rear foot

A
- Extend open hand toward target keeping elbow down
- Rotate hips and shoulder forward to add power
- Pivot on the ball of rear foot
- Just before contact, rotate your wrist inward, flex wrist backward, and make contact with meaty part of palm

A
- Extend hand forward keeping elbow down
- Rotate shoulder and hip forward for power
- Thumb in tight and fingers slightly spread and tensed
- Stab fingers forward at 45 deg angle

Straight Punch with Advance/Retreat
A
- Combining straight punch and movement techniques
- As punch recoils, close the distance
- punch leads, push off, land punch, recoil and close distance - works for both advancing and retreating
- having attacker take step forward for retreating practice I think would work
- don’t lead with your face

Straight Punch Low
A
- Begin a standard straight punch
- Send punch low while dropping body down by bending at knees and waist
- Really tuck your chin and keep other hand up to protect head
- Retreat out and continue with counters
- Do not telegraph by dropping down first then punching

(Passive Stance)
- Look! Move hand upwards towards target with palm facing you (other hand should also come up to cover and tuck chin—turtle)
- Rotate hip, shoulder, and fist for power
- Pivot on outside foot (might take a step in if you have space)
- Keep elbow slightly bent and make contact with meaty part of fist/hammer
- Penetrate the target and recoil quickly

- Look! Move hand upwards towards target with palm facing you (other hand should come up to cover, tuck chin —turtle)
- Rotate hips, shoulder, fist for power
- Pivot on the ball of rear foot (step in if you have space)
- Keep elbow slightly bent and make contact with meaty part of fist/hammer
- Penetrate the target and recoil quickly

- Look! Bring your hands up to your face and turtle
- Make a tight V in your arm with your hand to your chest
- Bend at the waist and drive the tip of your elbow backward and upward toward target
- Strike with the tip of your elbow
- Penetrate the target and recoil quickly, turn to face attacker and/or more combatives

Front Kick (Regular)
A
- From Fighting Stance
- Swing leg forward and bring knee up (knee up higher helps with next steps snapping foot out)
- Hips drive forward and upward for power and reach
- Snap foot out driving thru target (target is head via groin)
- Make contact with shin-to-shoelace
- Recoil quickly back into fighting stance
- I’m looking at attackers collarbone, not at target.
- Hands are up

- From Fighting Stance
- Swing leg forward with knee up
- Punch foot, leg, hip straight out
- Make contact with ball of foot with toes curled up, drive thru target (midsection, chin)
- Recoil quickly
- Eyes on collarbone, hands up

- From Fighting Stance
- Swing leg forward bending knee
- Roll hip over by pivoting on plant foot
- Snap foot out making contact with shin, slight bend in knee
- Penetrate target (knee, thigh, ribs, head)
- Recoil quickly

A
- From Control Position
- Pull attacker into knee as drive knee into target (groin, midsection, head)
- Drive with hips for power
- Keep sharp bend in knee and strike with kneecap
- Recoil quickly & finish the fight

360 Outside Defenses
A
- From neutral stance, hands up at face level
- Elbow bent 90 deg, defend attack at 90 deg
- Defend wrist to wrist
- Defend using blade of forearm
- Put weight behind defense
- Look at attackers collarbone

Inside Defense
A
- Defend using same-side (mirror side) hand
- Redirect punch offline by sending my palm outward and inward toward my center line
- Keep elbow down and in
- Palm should slide along attackers arm
- Small movement, can make slight head defense
- Control the center line
- Keep stable platforms and preserve the counter

Inside Defense against Low Straight Punch
A
- Defend using same-side (mirror side) hand
- Lead the motion with the elbow
- Send elbow in a sweeping motion across my body while keeping hand up
- Contract abs to protect and lower body by bending at knees

Choke f/ Front, 2-hand Pluck
* Reach hands in down deep past attackers hands
* Use hands as hooks to pluck at attackers thumbs by tracing shoulder line and dropping my elbows down and back (*speed & leverage at 90 degrees!). Ideally plucking/catching with my WRISTS, fingers as backup.
* As I pluck, take a small side step (stomp) to shift my weight and line up for the groin kick
* Recoil my kick & clear his hands
* Continue w/ counters, move into a control position, and finish the fight.

Choke f/ Front, 1-hand Pluck
* Same side hand to pluck, simultaneously sending palm heel to attackers chin (blow their head off with my palm)
* Move into control position & finish the fight

Choke f/ Behind
* Tuck your chin, contract abs, hands go up, elbows up, reach down back as far as possible
* Pluck at attackers thumbs pulling elbows straight down (like YES!)
* As you pluck, step diagonally backward moving BOTH feet
* Outside hand continues to hold onto attacker, inside hand delivers groin strike followed by elbows up body to head
* Outside hand releases and turn in toward attacker with hammerfist strike to face
* Follow with additional counters, control position, finish the fight

Choke f/ Side
* Reach up across and close to my chest with outside hand just past the attacker’s wrist
* Make a hook with hand and pluck violently down across chest, keeping elbow in tight to side
* Simultaneously strike groin with inside hand
* Elbows to body & head
* Drive into control position & finish the fight!

Choke f/ Front w/ Push
* Stab the sky, shoulder to ear, pinky in the back like a backstroke
* Turn sharply/explosively 90 deg (to opposite side as hand up)
* Drop elbow down & in turning pinky towards you & trapping attacker’s arms with opposite hand (ELBOW POWER!)
* Counter w/ an Elbow to face
* Drive into Control position & finish the fight

Choke f/ Behind w/ Push
* Stab the sky, shoulder to ear
* Turn sharply around toward attacker (same side as hand up)
* Step back with inside foot
* Drop the elbow & simultaneously counter
* Move into control position & finish the fight

Headlock f/ Side
* Go with pull, turning chin in and down
* Strike the groin with outside hand, inside comes up to grab hair or under nose/chin of attacker
* Drop elbow straight down, lifting head/chin of attacker
* Drive attacker straight down as I stand up
* Continue with counters, finish the fight

Back Position
* Head & shoulders off the ground
* Chin tucked
* Hands up
* Closest foot is up by bringing knee to chest, toes peeled back
* Base foot is close to rear with hips off ground

Back Position: Movement on Ground
* Goal is to keep my feet between my body/head and attacker
* Use base foot to turn & stop
* Closest foot to attacker is up for kicking (left/right switch as necessary)

Get Up f/ Ground
* Sit up
* Place hands on ground same side as kicking leg
* Hips up
* Get up by swinging kicking leg quickly under & behind me
* Cover distance & be in balanced fighting position

Front Kick on Ground
* Stomp foot out
* Drive hips out for power
* Base on ground with elbows
* Strike with heel or entire foot (like defensive front kick)
* Recoil immediately (hopefully to GET THE FUCK UP! GTFU)
