Flashcards in Ligaments of Shoulder Girdle & Upper Limb Deck (17):
0

Interclavicular ligament

Runs between the sternal ends of the clavicles at sternoclavicular joint

1

Capsular ligament

"Caps" sternal end of clavicle and attaches it to sternum

2

Anterior sternoclavicular ligament

Attaches clavicle to sternum on anterior side

3

Costoclavicular ligament

Runs from clavicle, just lateral of sternal attachment and attaches to 1st rib

4

Trapezoid ligament

Attaches clavicle to coracoid process of scapula on lateral side

5

Conoid ligament

Attaches clavicle to coracoid process on medial side of coraoid process

6

Acromioclavicular ligament

Connects acromion to clavicle

7

Coracoacromial ligament

Connects coracoid process with acromion (runs deep to clavicle)

8

Suprascapular ligament

Caps suprascapular notch

9

Runs from base of coracoid process to greater tubercle of humerous

.

10

Transverse humeral ligament

Caps bicipital groove

11

Glenohumeral ligament

Runs deep to coracohumeral ligament

12

Capsular ligament of elbow

Wraps around all elbow articulations with humerous

13

Ulnar collateral ligament

Attaches ulna to humerous (3 bands- anterior(most anterior and superior), posterior, oblique)

14

Radial collateral ligament

Attaches radius to lateral epicondyle of humerous (deep to capsular ligament)

15

Annular ligament

Wraps around radius and attaches it to ulna

16

Interosseus membrane

Between radius and ulnar shafts
