W-off-W, after 10s delay: launch bar fails to retract, gear down and locked
Gear position disagrees with handle
All gear doors NOT up and locked with handle up.
Normally out by 40%
If differential LESS than 10psi, 10s delay.
Momentary illumination under positive G OK after negative/zero G loading.
O2 concentration below lims.
Bleed air supply temp >250 F
OBOGS BIT failure
Gear handle up with:
-throttle below 92% position
-altitude below 7,200 (<170kias
-FLAPS/SLATS not in UP position
Either or both inverters fail.
Single fail, non essential AC shed.

Dual inverter failure
-GINA and V.VECT will be present, quality degrading.
Initial shot of fuel solenoid or steam ingestion bleed valve not in correct position:
LBAR down, W-on-W, N2 >70%,
Switch in RETRACT
AND steam ingestion bleed valve not in correct position (ie if it is closed)
Ascent: open from deck through 9,500 +/- 300 MSL.
Descent: reopens descending through 7,700 +/- 500 MSL.
Open = 75 gph
Closed = 25 gph
On ground, avionics cooling duct over 67C
Brake pressure release system has failed.
(Indicates there IS press when we don't want it)
System activates when:
- Gear down and locked
- LBAR down + locked in shuttle (switch in retract)
- Throttle > 95%
- NWS button not depressed
- Parking brake handle off
Canopy is unlocked.
Tone will activate if throttle is advanced past 95% N2.
Control augmentation is off, degraded or in IBIT.
(Lost rudder trim, YDC failure / CBIT failure, or generator failure)
Paddle switch deactivates CONTR AUG system and disengages NWS.
A landing gear door is open.
Dual ECA channel failure.
Failure to full trim may limit thrust available by 1/3. Careful with throttle to avoid stall or flameout.
Failure to zero trim (most likely) will require careful throttle adjustment to keep engine with limits.
Collector tank is less than 350 lbs.
10s delay. Float sensor.
-Fuel pressurization failure (less than 3 psi above datum, aka ambient)
-Fuel boost pump failure. (Differential pressure switch)
-One or both ENGINE switches set to OFF. (This will shutoff boost pump #2, triggering the differential pressure switch)

When either HYD1 or HYD2 are < 1660 +/- 100 psi.
Will extinguish when both back above 2,000psi
Engine driven low pressure fuel pump failure / output pressure low.
Fuel press below 35 psi from LP pump.
Manual fuel system is selected.
Nose wheel steering failure (malfunction + shutdown or failed bit) or paddled off.
Indicates failure in NWS augmentation, i.e. BIT fail.
Momentarily pressing NWS button causes NWS AUG to attempt a reset.
With NWS AUG failure, nose wheel steering without yaw rate correction is still available.
Throttle above "intermediate" position, ~60-70% RPM and parking brake is set.
RAT is extended.
Uncommanded RAT extension is indicated by RAT light when normal HYD2 pressure and no HYD caution light.
One or both ejection seats not armed and throttle above intermediate position, 60-70%.
Anti-skid system failure.
-Slats not in commanded position.
- split slat condition.
- slats are selected above 217kts. (Will not extend)
Tailpipe bay temperature exceeds limits: 150C
Single channel ECA failure.
Flaps fully extended.
GTS is at idle speed (rpm?) and ready for start.
Flaps are in 1/2 position
Launch bar is extended on the deck and launch bar switch is set to extend.
Left MLG is down and locked.
Manual fuel is selected,
Nose landing gear down and locked
Nose wheel steering is in high gain mode.
N1 at or greater than 100RPM, correct direction.
Right MLG down and locked
Anti-skid system is selected.
Speed brakes not fully retracted.
SPD BRK / FULL
Speed brakes not fully extended
Caution lights that are ASAP (possible, not practical)
