The person the story is about - the one about whom you learn the most and who plays the largest role in the tale.
Play less essential roles.
The qualities that make a person an individual. These traits determine how each character behaves and interacts with others.
Hero; main character.
Villain; character or force that tries to defeat the protagonist.
A character who stays the same in personality or values; does NOT change significantly.
A character who DOES change in personality or values.
A two-dimensional character lacking depth or complexity; often built around a single dominant trait.
Complete or real person with many human qualities ( strengths and weaknesses = well rounded
